Heatwave heading for UK could last three months

Long range forecasts are predicting that Britain may well be hotter than both Spain and France in the coming months, with temperatures for April, May and June set to be above average.Heatwave heading for UK could last three months holiday homes in Westward Ho! Braddicks Holiday Centre

The next three months look set to top the temperatures of last year, while it has been predicted that temperatures could hit 25°C this week, which is hotter than Valencia!

Last Friday (10th April) was the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures of 22°C being recorded across Britain.

This impending warm weather is thanks to a plume of warm air which is heading into the south west, courtesy of the Azores Islands, which are located off the coast of Portugal and West Africa.

However, there has been a warning to those of you who suffer from allergies at this time of the year, as hayfever sufferers may experience symptoms due to this incoming weather. It is worth noting that pollen levels are between low to moderate for the vast majority of the south, which is a small blessing!

With the potential for such glorious incoming weather, now is a fantastic time to book one of our holiday homes in Westward Ho! and join us in beautiful North Devon for your holiday!
