We own The Pier House, The Waterfront Inn, the Fairway Buoy, HoBarts family amusement centres and of course Braddicks Holiday Centre. FULL TIME, PERMANENT ASSISTANT HEAD HOUSEKEEPER REQUIRED

 

The Job Role

Housekeeping team members are an integral part of the Braddicks Holiday Centre team. Your role as a Housekeeping Assistant will be to ensure that all allocated units of accommodation are cleaned to the high standard expected of our holiday park, first time, every time.  

As an assistant Housekeeper, you will be required to:

  • To assist the Head Housekeeper with daily management and planning functions.
  • To cover for and assume responsibilities of Head Housekeeper in their absence.
  • To monitor and understand guest check-in volumes as early as possible – Liaise with the reception/bookings department and monitor appropriate arrivals lists.
  • To assist with recruitment and training of all cleaners and checkers under the guidance of Head Housekeeper.
  • Implement training for supervisors, checkers and cleaners as directed by the Head Housekeeper.
  • To provide hands-on cover for staff absences within the supervisor and cleaning/checker staff levels.
  • Monitor / report / rectify H&S issues on site.
  • Monitor cleaning standards and the use of the daily cleaning checklist including additional legionella cleaning requirements. Cleaning must match or exceed the standards set by Head Housekeeper
  • To allocate and supervise workload to cleaning teams.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning products/bedding and stocking of satellite storerooms.
  • Liaise with the provider of laundry services. 

 

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a representative of our holiday park, operating in a professional and organised manner with a proactive approach and a meticulous eye for detail to accomplish the required tasks within a timescale. You must be able to manage your time to ensure that all additional weekly tasks can be completed as and when required. 

You will enjoy being part of a busy team but also have the drive to work on your own initiative, always keen to deliver the highest standards and exceed our guests’ expectations.

You also need to be reliable and trustworthy.

  • You must have full right to work in the UK
  • Public and Bank Holidays, as well as school holidays, will all be worked as part of your normal shift pattern.
  • A degree of personal fitness is required.
  • A team player who is an avid learner and adaptable
  • Good communication skills required
  • Positive and friendly attitude with a ‘can do’ mindset
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and be well organised

PART-TIME, SEASONAL ACCOMMODATION RUNNERS REQUIRED

 

The Job Role

Housekeeping staff members are an integral part of the Braddicks Holiday Centre team

Your role as an accommodation runner will be to assist housekeeping teams that are missing inventory within holiday accommodation. You will also deliver linen to holiday accommodation and housekeeping teams on changeover days.

You will be required to assist housekeeping with additional duties at times.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for their first job.

The Ideal Candidate

You also need to be reliable and trustworthy and able to work as part of a team.

Training will be provided. You will have good communications skills, being able to listen and communicate effectively with other staff members. You will have a flexible attitude and approach to your work.

PART-TIME SEASONAL CLEANERS REQUIRED

The Job Role

Housekeeping staff members are an integral part of the Braddicks Holiday Centre team.

Your role as an accommodation cleaner will be to ensure that all allocated units of accommodation are cleaned to the high standards set and expected at our holiday park, first time, every time.

You will report to the Housekeeping Assistant any maintenance or inventory issues identified.

You will work as part of a team but will be responsible for making sure that the accommodation meets our guests’ expectations.

 The Ideal Candidate

You will be conscientious and have immaculate attention to detail. You need to be able to work as part of a team but using your own initiative to accomplish the required tasks within a timescale. 

You also need to be reliable and trustworthy.

Although experience is preferred it is not necessary, with training included and equipment provided. You will be motivated to produce excellent standards of cleanliness, taking on-board constructive advice where necessary. You will have good interpersonal skills, being able to listen and communicate effectively with other staff members. You will have a flexible attitude and approach to your work.

  • To clean allocated accommodation to company standards, as required by the Head Housekeeper & Housekeeping Assistant on changeover days, typically Monday, Friday and/or Saturday.
  • Make beds in assigned accommodation.
  • Report any maintenance or inventory issues identified to the & Housekeeping Assistant.

PART-TIME, SEASONAL

ACCOMMODATION CHECKER / CLEANER REQUIRED

The Job Role

Housekeeping staff members are an integral part of the Braddicks Holiday Centre team
 
Your role as an Accommodation Checker/Cleaner will be to ensure that all allocated units of accommodation are cleaned to the high standard expected of our holiday park, first time, every time. 

  • Assist the Head Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper with daily management and planning functions.
  • Monitor and understand guest check-in volumes as early as possible.
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of Cleaners as directed.
  • Assist with Health & Safety and COSH training.
  • Monitor standards of cleaning and legionella safety requirements. Standards must match or exceed those set by Head Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeper
  • Take responsibility for the cleaning standards achieved by the cleaning teams.
  • Work as part of the 3-person cleaning team, actively cleaning before checking accommodation standards.
  • Provide hands-on cover for staff absences within the Checker and cleaning staff levels.
  • Report any cleaning or maintenance issues that cannot be rectified on the day, leading to the possible temporary closure of the unit.
  • Monitor / report / rectify H&S issues on site.

 
You will be responsible for ensuring the preparation of accommodation to the specification set by the company within the allotted time of a changeover, reporting to the Housekeeping Assistant any maintenance or inventory issues identified.
 
You will ultimately be responsible for making sure that the accommodation meets our guests’ expectations.
